Padres work there way into the league today with a couple of games against the 2014 champions Blackjacks. The Blackjacks started off slow in the first game and get there first shutout this season. Miekel Andino gets his first win with a great day and Daniel Keller swings 3/4 for the Jacks.

Second game wakes up the bats as the Blackjacks pull out 14 runs with a stellar performance by David Papa pitching a complete game. Los Padres get a run in at the top of the 4th but that's not enough.

Heavy Hitters came in to play against the Blackjacks in a tough close 9 inning game. David Papa gets the win with 6k's and no Earned. Well the season started with two new teams learning there players with a good competitive fun game. Tampa Bay Raiders get the 1st win of the season with a 5-1 score over the Florida Rage. This is the 1st of 3 meetings between the teams for the year.

Ok Coaches and players.. With the season underway this week for most of the teams. I would like to say "lets have a great start to the fall season". There will be Player of Month awards through out the season. So it is extremely important for all coaches to make sure there entering there stats in correctly. The Board also needs to collect both score cards to view them after the games. For the first part of the season there will be a couple of teams with no uniforms since team fees are late and the company is a few weeks behind in production. Hats should be available for those teams who got them.
